The human body and the entire earth are made up of energy, vibrating at different frequencies.  When out of rhythm, dis-ease and disharmony result.  Vibrational sound therapy can work with these imbalances or blockages of the energy channels to help restore balance and ease within the body again.

With being emersed in a sound bath meditation that resonates well with you, individuals are able to access meditative states through the practice of deep listening.  By way of entrainment, the soothing tones and vibrations created from various instruments help to prepare the nervous system go into the parasympathetic nervous system state.  This creates the environment for the body to go into its own natural healing state often relieving stress and reducing pain bringing about restoration and balance.  

Entrainment synchronizes fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency to which the brainwave can attune.  Combinations of rhythms and frequencies make it is possible to shift from our normal beta state (alert, waking, concentrating, reacting) to alpha (creative, relaxed) and theta (meditative state) and to delta (deep sleep; where restoring and healing can occur).  Shifting brainwave states elicits the relaxation response in the body, turning on the parasympathetic nervous system state.
